We are seeking an experienced Production Manager - Woven Sacks



Job Type: Permanent

Location: Cameroon, Africa

Salary: Based on Experience

Experience: 15-20 Years


About the Company

We are a leading manufacturer and exporter of plastic products, specializing in woven sacks and packaging solutions. Our commitment to quality and innovation has established us as a trusted name in the industry.


Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management:

Oversee and manage the complete woven sacks production process, including Tape Extrusion, Weaving, Lamination, Printing, Loom, and Converting lines.

Plan, organize, and optimize production schedules to meet quality, efficiency, and delivery timelines.

Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and 5S methodologies for operational excellence.


2. Machine & Process Optimization:

Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of W&H and Lohia machines.

Identify areas for process improvement to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and improve machine efficiency.


3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Work closely with the Quality team to minimize defects, rejections, and improve product consistency.


4. Manpower Management:

Lead a team of 500 employees, focusing on training, motivation, and skill development.

Coordinate with HR for workforce planning, recruitment, and performance evaluations.


5. Inventory & Cost Control:

Monitor raw material usage, optimize inventory levels, and minimize wastage.

Control production costs while maintaining high product quality and meeting delivery deadlines.


6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for all employees.


7. Reporting & Coordination:

Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management.

Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.


Key Skills & Qualifications

Strong technical expertise in woven sacks manufacturing and W&H, Lohia machines

In-depth knowledge of Lamination, Printing, Loom, and Converting processes

Experience managing large-scale teams (minimum 300 employees)

Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and team management abilities
